JLF Marketing Solutions LLC ("JLF Marketing Solutions," "JLF," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of our website visitors, prospective clients, clients, and other individuals whose personal information we process.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information in connection with our website, online forms, assessments, communications, marketing activities, and services.

This Privacy Policy does not replace any separate agreement, consent form, service agreement, texting consent, or other notice that applies to a particular service or activity.

Growth Path Assessment Information

When you complete the JLF Growth Path Assessment, we may collect your contact information, business information, marketing-related responses, assessment answers, and other information you submit.

We use this information to:

  • understand your business and current marketing position;

  • evaluate your stated marketing needs;

  • respond to your questions;

  • follow up regarding your assessment;

  • provide requested information about JLF services; and

  • improve our assessment and client experience.

A recommendation generated from the Growth Path Assessment is a marketing recommendation only. It is not a credit, employment, housing, insurance, financial, legal, or other decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Submitting the Growth Path Assessment does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive promotional SMS messages unless separate SMS consent is provided where required.

Information Collected Automatically.

When you visit our website, certain information may be collected automatically, including:

  • IP address;

  • browser type;

  • device type;

  • operating system;

  • referring or exit pages;

  • pages viewed;

  • approximate geographic information derived from an IP address;

  • date and time of visits;

  • website interactions;

  • cookie and similar technology identifiers; and

  • diagnostic, performance, and security information.

We may use this information to operate, secure, analyze, troubleshoot, and improve our website and services.

2. Cookies and Similar Technologies

JLF uses cookies and similar technologies for website functionality, security, analytics, embedded services, and, where enabled and permitted, marketing or advertising purposes.

Our website uses Cookiebot as a consent-management tool.

Depending on your location and applicable law, our cookie controls may allow you to accept, reject, or customize categories of cookies, including:

  • necessary cookies;

  • preference cookies;

  • statistics or analytics cookies; and

  • marketing or advertising cookies.

Strictly necessary technologies may operate without optional consent when permitted because they are required for essential website functionality or security.

Non-essential cookies and similar technologies are controlled through our cookie-consent system where applicable.

You may change or withdraw applicable cookie preferences through the Cookiebot consent controls available on our website.

The current Cookie Declaration displayed through Cookiebot provides additional information concerning individual cookies, providers, purposes, and storage periods. Because technologies and providers may change, the Cookie Declaration should be consulted for the most current cookie-level information.

Browser settings may also permit you to block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect certain website functions.

3. How We Use Personal Information

JLF may use personal information for the following purposes:

Website and Business Operations

  • operating and maintaining our website;

  • providing requested information;

  • responding to inquiries;

  • scheduling consultations;

  • maintaining business records;

  • improving our website, forms, assessments, and services;

  • troubleshooting technical issues;

  • preventing fraud, misuse, or security incidents; and

  • administering our business.

Prospective Client and Sales Activities

  • reviewing Growth Path Assessment submissions;

  • recommending appropriate JLF services or packages;

  • responding to requests for consultations;

  • communicating with prospective clients;

  • preparing proposals or service information;

  • following up on legitimate business inquiries; and

  • maintaining reasonable records of prospective client interactions.

Client Service Delivery

When you become a JLF client, we may use information to:

  • onboard your business;

  • perform discovery and implementation;

  • provide contracted marketing services;

  • manage accounts and authorized platform access;

  • provide Local SEO, reputation management, advertising, social media, content, automation, website, communications, AI-enabled, or other purchased services;

  • communicate about service status, approvals, dependencies, and results;

  • maintain service and transaction records;

  • provide reporting and stewardship; and

  • support transition or offboarding activities.

Communications and Marketing

We may use contact information to send communications that you request or that relate to an existing business relationship.

We may also send marketing communications where permitted by law.

You may unsubscribe from promotional email communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the message or by contacting us.

Email opt-out requests may not prevent us from sending non-promotional communications necessary to respond to a request, administer an existing relationship, provide contracted services, address security matters, or satisfy legal obligations.

4. SMS and Text Messaging

JLF may use SMS or similar messaging only when appropriate for the particular relationship, service, and applicable consent requirements.

Where separate consent to receive marketing or promotional text messages is required, JLF will use a separate consent mechanism or disclosure.

This Privacy Policy does not itself constitute consent to receive promotional text messages.

Providing a telephone number through a general inquiry or the Growth Path Assessment does not automatically create promotional SMS consent where separate consent is legally required.

The terms presented at the point of SMS consent, including any applicable opt-out instructions, govern that messaging program.

Consent to receive promotional SMS communications is handled separately from general acceptance or acknowledgement of this Privacy Policy.

5. Information We Process on Behalf of JLF Clients

Certain JLF services may require us to process personal information on behalf of our business clients.

For example, a client may authorize JLF or a JLF service provider to process customer contact information for:

  • review-request campaigns;

  • reputation management;

  • customer communications;

  • lead management;

  • marketing automation;

  • email or SMS campaigns;

  • customer relationship management activities; or

  • other contracted marketing services.

When JLF processes personal information solely on behalf of a client, that client may determine the purposes for which the information is collected and used.

JLF processes such information only for authorized service purposes, subject to applicable agreements, instructions, law, and provider requirements.

If you are an individual whose information has been provided to JLF by one of our business clients, you may need to contact that business directly regarding its underlying collection or use of your information.

6. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Tools

JLF may use artificial intelligence, automation, machine learning, or similar technologies to assist with authorized business and service activities.

These tools may assist with activities such as:

  • analyzing assessment responses;

  • organizing or summarizing information;

  • generating draft content;

  • assisting with marketing analysis;

  • supporting client service delivery;

  • identifying trends or opportunities;

  • supporting reputation or communication workflows;

  • assisting customer support or lead-response functions; and

  • improving operational efficiency.

Use of AI or automation does not automatically authorize a new or unrelated use of personal information.

JLF does not use identifiable client or prospect personal information for unrelated cross-client model training, unrelated marketing, or another materially incompatible secondary purpose without an appropriate legal basis or separate authorization where required.

Where appropriate, AI-generated output may be reviewed or managed by a person before consequential action is taken.

7. Service Providers and Third Parties

JLF uses third-party service providers to operate our business and deliver services.

Depending on the activity, these may include providers of:

  • website hosting and infrastructure;

  • website forms and assessments, including Jotform;

  • consent management, including Cookiebot;

  • customer relationship management;

  • email services;

  • SMS and communications services;

  • scheduling;

  • analytics;

  • advertising;

  • payment processing;

  • marketing technology;

  • social media;

  • reputation management;

  • local listings and search technology;

  • cloud storage;

  • cybersecurity;

  • automation;

  • artificial intelligence;

  • video or embedded content;

  • professional services; and

  • other business-support functions.

These providers may process information as necessary to perform services for JLF.

We do not consider ordinary disclosure to a service provider acting on our behalf to be a sale of personal information merely because a third-party system is involved.

Third-party providers may maintain their own privacy policies, terms, security practices, and legal obligations.

8. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

JLF does not knowingly sell personal information to third parties for monetary consideration.

However, privacy laws in some jurisdictions define terms such as "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" more broadly than an ordinary monetary sale.

Certain analytics, marketing, advertising, embedded-content, or cross-site technologies may involve disclosures that could fall within those definitions under applicable law.

Where required, you may control applicable advertising or marketing technologies using the Cookiebot consent controls available on our website, including any available "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" option.

Where applicable law requires recognition of legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, JLF will honor those signals to the extent required and technically received through our consent-management systems.

9. Legal and Business Disclosures

We may disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law;

  • respond to lawful legal process;

  • respond to government or regulatory requests;

  • protect the rights, property, or safety of JLF, our clients, users, or others;

  • investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity;

  • enforce agreements;

  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;

  • complete a merger, acquisition, sale, restructuring, financing, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law; or

  • carry out another disclosure permitted or required by law.

10. Payment Information

When payment is required, payment information may be processed through third-party payment providers.

JLF may receive transaction information such as payment status, amount, billing contact information, transaction identifiers, and payment history.

Depending on the payment method and provider, JLF may not receive or store the complete payment-card number.

Payment processors maintain their own security and privacy practices.

11. Data Retention

JLF retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or for another legitimate and lawful business purpose.

Retention may depend on factors such as:

  • the nature of the information;

  • whether you are a prospective or current client;

  • the duration of a client relationship;

  • whether the information is needed to provide services;

  • contractual requirements;

  • accounting or tax requirements;

  • consent records;

  • security or fraud-prevention requirements;

  • dispute-resolution needs;

  • legal obligations; and

  • applicable limitation or recordkeeping periods.

When personal information is no longer reasonably required, JLF may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal, technical, backup, or provider limitations.

Cookie storage periods are described in the Cookiebot Cookie Declaration where available.

12. De-Identified and Aggregated Information

JLF may create or use aggregated, statistical, or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual.

We may use such information for analytics, performance evaluation, service improvement, business planning, benchmarking, or similar legitimate purposes.

Where required by applicable law, JLF will not attempt to re-identify information maintained as de-identified.

13. Data Security

JLF uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information appropriate to the nature of the information and our business.

These measures may include access controls, account-security measures, use of reputable service providers, credential-management practices, secure transmission methods where appropriate, and procedures intended to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

No website, transmission method, storage system, or security control can guarantee absolute security.

Accordingly, JLF cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, lost, or destroyed through circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If JLF becomes aware of a data-security incident requiring notification under applicable law, we will address notification and response obligations as required.

14. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and whether a particular privacy law applies to JLF, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

These rights may include the right to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal information;

  • request access to certain personal information;

  • obtain a copy of certain personal information;

  • request correction of inaccurate information;

  • request deletion of personal information;

  • request portability of certain information;

  • opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information;

  • opt out of targeted advertising;

  • opt out of certain profiling activities;

  • limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable;

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

  • appeal a denied privacy request where applicable; and

  • exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination.

These rights are not absolute. Exceptions may apply where information is needed to:

  • complete a transaction or provide a requested service;

  • comply with law;

  • protect security or prevent fraud;

  • exercise or defend legal claims;

  • preserve required business records;

  • fulfill contractual obligations; or

Information collected solely to verify a privacy request will be used for that purpose.

Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, we may require reasonable evidence of the agent's authority.

Response Timing

Where a privacy law establishes a specific response period, JLF will respond within the legally required period.

For laws using a 45-day initial response period, JLF may use an additional period where the applicable law permits an extension and required notice is provided.

Appeals

If applicable law provides a right to appeal a denied privacy request, you may submit an appeal by replying to our decision or contacting us using the information above and stating:

Privacy Request Appeal

We will process the appeal in accordance with applicable law.

15. California Privacy Rights

If JLF is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, California residents may have rights including:

  • the right to know or access;

  • the right to delete;

  • the right to correct;

  • the right to opt out of sale or sharing;

  • the right to limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information where applicable; and

  • the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.

California law may define "sharing" to include certain disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising even when money is not exchanged.

JLF does not knowingly sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Where applicable, California residents may exercise available sale/sharing or advertising choices through our Cookiebot consent controls or by contacting us.

16. Indiana Privacy Rights

The Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act became effective January 1, 2026.

To the extent that the Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act applies to JLF and to a particular individual, eligible Indiana consumers may have rights including:

  • correction;

  • deletion;

  • portability;

  • opt-out rights relating to targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or qualifying profiling;

  • protection concerning qualifying sensitive data;

  • non-discrimination; and

  • an appeal process for denied requests.

Indiana privacy-law rights apply only where the requirements of the law are satisfied.

Privacy requests and appeals may be submitted using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy.

17. Other U.S. State Privacy Laws

Additional U.S. states have enacted privacy laws that may provide residents with privacy rights.

Where another applicable state privacy law applies to JLF, we will process valid requests consistent with that law.

This Privacy Policy should not be interpreted as a representation that every state privacy statute applies to JLF regardless of statutory thresholds, exemptions, or scope.

18. International Visitors

JLF is based in the United States, and our website and services are primarily directed toward businesses in the United States.

Information submitted to JLF may be processed and stored in the United States or in other locations where our service providers operate.

Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from those in your country.

Where JLF is legally required to provide additional rights or protections to an individual located outside the United States, we will address those requirements as applicable.

Where applicable law requires a lawful basis for processing, JLF may rely, as appropriate, on consent, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate business interests, or compliance with legal obligations.

19. Children's Privacy

JLF's website and services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our website for marketing purposes.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete or otherwise address that information.

Parents or legal guardians who believe a child has provided personal information to JLF may contact us using the information below.

20. External Websites and Embedded Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or include content or functionality provided by third parties.

These websites and services may collect information independently of JLF and are governed by their own privacy practices.

JLF is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or services that we do not control.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies and settings of third-party services you choose to use.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:

  • changes in our business;

  • new services;

  • changes in technology;
